INDOOR HEATED POOL
The pool stays at 86 degrees year round
for comfort during exercise classes or kids learning to swim.
The shallow pool will help improve your strength, flexibility
and endurance during water exercise and also is the perfect
forum to teach both kids as well as adults how to swim.
SWIM LESSONS
With classes for all ages and skills offered
year around, children are assessed prior to instruction to
make sure they are in the right skill level. You may register
for each session approximately two week prior to the start
date and fees are based on enrollment not attendance.
Each student will progress at his/her own
pace. It is not unusual for a student to repeat a level more
than once before mastering all the necessary skills. We strongly
encourage all parents to participate actively in their child's
swimming experience here at the San Gabriel Valley Family
YMCA by communicating with the child's instructor.
